UAB “Veiverita” was founded in 2004 m. First the company produced furniture. 90 % of made production was exported to western Europe countrys. Thanks to UAB „Veiverita“ close collaboration with UAB „Erelitos Prekyba“, that has a long living experience in peat business 2005 m. has started to invest in peat substratum production. Buildings, equipment, spec. transport for peat loading and transportating were bought. At this time production is pursued in Zarasu raj., Briedlaukio k. At the production work 8 employees. The company is able to remake about 60 000 cubic meters peat per year. The equipment allows to produce wide spectrum of peat substratum (natural, without acid peat, substratums with fertilizers, trace elements and various substances), prepacked in different size sacks.  95 % of the products are exported to Italy, Poland, Germany and other western countrys.
